Summary:
Here is a chance to own a piece of flying history. It is estimated that less than 20 of these airplanes are still flying. Known as the “Yellow Peril”, one of the remaining N3N-3 hangs in the National Air and Space Museum. This is a rare example of early WWII aviation, it was used as a primary trainer and wasn’t decommissioned until 1964. This airplane has been owned by the current family for over 40 years. It continues to be treated as a rare collectible and is in good condition. It has never been used in any type of agricultural aerial spraying.

These airplanes rarely show up on the market, don’t miss your chance to own a rare airplane from a bygone era. Logbooks and other documents are available upon request.

Addition Features, Equipment or Comments:
Sadly, the majority of the personal history of this airplane was lost when the owner passed not long ago. He owned it for a very long time as part of a collection of planes and other vehicles. As a result, the airplane has not flown much in the last 39 years. Its last annual inspection was in 2016 and has only been ground run since. The estate is working to get the airplane “fly away” ready. It is anticipated that the airplane will go through an annual inspection prior to completion of the sale.
